About

I live with my husband Roy and three kids just outside Bunclody. I grew up at Annaharvey Farm, Tullamore Co Offaly. Horses were always part of my childhood. Summers spent show jumping, pony club & hacking around the farm. My winters were spent hunting, hunter trials and show jumping and  lot of mucking out. It was a natural progression to train as a BHSAI after school and work for my parents Henry & Lynda Deverell in the family business. I managed the riding school & worked on young horses for 10 years at Annaharvey Farm. Annaharvey Farm in known for hosting events such as Hunter trial, Dressage Ireland shows, Eventing Ireland Events & Equestrian holiday destination. My Dad’s passion for racing lead him to breed group one winners such as Graphic Equalizer & Back on top.

My love for horses lead me to Equine Therapy. I have helped horses rehab from Kissing Spine Surgery, Tendon injury, Muscle injuries along with relieving Tension , Behavioral issues, Ridden and Performance Issues. Equine Back Health is vital to every horses’ performance. Identifying poor performance and relating it to the biomechanics of movement and disfunction is where my real interest lies.

I want every clients horse to be able to achieve their person best performance.

I understand the horse needs, but I also understand the riders. I often find there is a missing link between the two. I see it as my role to make that connection secure & sustain the future development as a unit.

Reading body language and understanding behavior is vital to starting the process of finding the problem. Difficult horse’s are always a challenge but I usually find that they are trying to convey they have something wrong and most people just miss the signs. I have an inherent need to ask why…..
